CHAT GPT AND AI TOOLS ARE REVOLUTIONIZING EDUCATION AND STUDENT LEARNING BEHAVIOUR

In today’s swiftly changing educational landscape, artificial intelligence stands out as one of the most powerful forces driving innovation. Tools like ChatGPT have moved from experimental curiosities into mainstream supports in classrooms, study groups, and students’ personal learning routines. These AI companions foster new modes of inquiry, reflection, and discovery, reshaping not only what students learn, but also how they learn—and even why they learn.

Fundamentally, ChatGPT provides conversational assistance: a listener always on call that answers with explanations, prompts, corrections, and advice. Students may come to it with a query such as, “Tell me about Newton’s First Law,” or “Outline an essay for me on climate change.” Instead of sitting passively to be told, they are in dialogue—asking follow‑ups, trying out ideas, and shaping their knowledge. This give-and-take helps students learn concepts more richly, as opposed to glancing at a textbook or memorization by note.

When used responsibly and with direction, AI has the ability to amplify human imagination and knowledge—not supplant it. These students are forming new learning habits: appreciating clarity of thought over memorization, seeking self-directed investigation, prioritizing more effective organizing and expression of ideas, and thinking about their own learning process. Although difficulties around abuse and addiction are genuine, the potential benefit is obvious: AI can enable students to be richer thinkers, more assured writers, and lifelong learners. By seeing AI not as a crutch but as a partner—and by establishing digital fluency, ethical sensitivity, and human guidance—the education of the future can be richer, welcoming, and more compassionate. In today’s and tomorrow’s changing classroom, AItools such as ChatGPT do not substitute the student;they empowerthe learner.
